• Our Ticks & Fleas kit is a topical pest-control product for dogs. It is not a veterinary medicine and does not treat tick-borne disease, skin infection, fever or any illness. If your dog is unwell, scratching severely, losing hair, feverish or showing signs of infection, see a veterinarian.
• Never apply any RIDAX product to human skin, to open wounds, or internally.

Product Use, Safety And Responsibility

RIDAX products must be used exactly as directed on the pack and on the product page. Before use, you are responsible for reading the directions, and for the following:

• Keep all products out of the reach of children, and away from food, drink, utensils, animal feed and water sources.
• Do not eat, drink or smoke while applying. Wash hands after application.
• Ventilate treated rooms before reoccupying them. Our products are formulated with a very mild smell and, in the case of the cockroach bait, no vapour, no mess and no odour — but ventilation is still good practice.
• Do not spray onto bedding, pillows, mattresses in direct contact with skin, food-preparation surfaces, or pets. Apply to cracks, crevices, frames, skirting, furniture joints and hiding places as directed.
• The Termite Killing Concentrate must be diluted exactly as directed — 100 ml to 10,000 ml (10 litres) of water. Never use it undiluted.
• The cockroach bait sachets are to be opened and poured where cockroaches hide (under sinks, behind toilets, behind appliances). Do not leave loose bait where children or animals can reach it.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Dispose of empty containers responsibly and in accordance with local waste regulations. Do not re-use containers for food or water.
• If a product is swallowed, gets into the eyes, or causes a reaction, seek medical attention immediately and show the product label.

You accept full responsibility for how you store, handle, dilute, apply and dispose of these products, and for the safety of the people, animals and premises in which you use them.

Actual results depend on many variables outside our control, including but not limited to: the species and strain of pest; the severity, age and spread of the infestation; whether the breeding nest and harbourage points were located and treated; the extent of re-infestation from neighbouring units, adjoining buildings, second-hand furniture, luggage or visitors; whether the directions were followed in full, including coverage, dilution ratio, number of applications and retreatment intervals; the condition and construction of the premises; temperature, humidity and cleaning routines after treatment; and whether surrounding areas were treated at the same time.

Published performance figures quoted on this website — for example that the bed bugs spray "remains active for up to 6 months after application", or that the cockroach bait is "up to 12 months active" — describe the residual activity of the formulation under proper application and normal conditions. They are not a promise of a pest-free period for any individual property.

Severe, long-established or structurally complex infestations may require repeat applications, treatment of adjoining units, or a professional fumigation service in addition to a do-it-yourself product. Where we become aware that a case needs more than our products can deliver, we will tell you.
